Founder Jernice

Jernice Easthope is a creative leader, producer and industry advocate with extensive experience across television, live events and the cultural sector. She is the Founder of A Room That Looks Like Me, a programme dedicated to elevating under-represented creatives and strengthening pathways into the creative industries.

Jernice serves as a Trustee of the Liverpool Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Hall, contributing to the strategic leadership of one of the UK’s most respected cultural organisations. As a TV producer, she has worked on reality and entertainment formats for major broadcasters including Channel 4, ITV and the BBC, as well as leading streaming platforms. Her production credits also include high-profile events such as Glastonbury Festival.

In 2024 Jernice took part in the Women in Film & TV Mentors Programme and is a scholar of the School of Social Entrepreneurs, furthering her commitment to social impact and creative leadership. Her work is driven by a focus on inclusion, creative excellence and building lasting industry connections.

Adi Alfa

Creative Associate

Adi Alfa is a multi-award-winning actress, writer, director and producer from Liverpool. She is the co-founder of Media Worx Films and the founder of Women in Film and Creative Industries, supporting women at every level.

Her work spans character-led films and impact-driven campaigns for brands including Nike, Guinness, ASICS and DKMS, with BAFTA-qualifying shorts UNCLE and GHANIMAH, and award-winning titles Til Death and Traces.

She is developing TV series with Hat Trick Productions and, through A Room That Looks Like Me, champions Black and ethnically diverse women in the creative industries.
